Pues de las larvas no queda nada. Como tu has dicho, amigo Rui, están en un comunitario y si le añadimos que son primerizos, poca esperanza tenia de que saliera la puesta adelante. Habrá que esperar a la próxima.

Cómo no me esperaba esta puesta, no había pensado en este tema. Al ser tan pequeños, supongo que su alimentación en estos primeros días, seria a base de infusorios. ¿Que otra comida le darías tu? ¿Artemia baby?

Artemia baby descartado.
Infusorios, yema de huevo y tal vez algún preparado en polvo o líquido.

They live in small ponds or on the shore of big rivers in the herbs or irrigation ditch near the roads.

This is a ditch along the road where we caught many L. dorsigera and A. borelli and C. dimerus and Crenicichla spp and Pyrrhulina spp and H.eques...and of course Hoplias spp.
Water was around 26°C and pH was 6.1.
Most of the Apistogramma or Laetacara were caught in the grass, it means in 3 cm water height!


I don't have many picts of the biotopes from where we fished A. borelli because I used my "big" camera (Canon Eos 7D) and it wasn't so easy to shoot with it if you consider all the things you need to fish...I was hand full!
I don't want to post pictures from my friends without any authorizations too...
